SENIOR MARKETING RESEARCH MANAGER

Job Description

On a project by project basis, this person will either personally perform or supervise subordinates in the following tasks:

• Assist in the design of research projects/writing proposals
• Develop screeners, questionnaires, interview guides
• Deal with suppliers and their other project support activities   
• Write detailed data processing specifications and analysis plans
• Review and proof of data output
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with our clients and suppliers via regular project related interactions with them  

This person must have the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines faithfully, and do it all with an uncompromising attention to detail and a firm commitment to quality.

Desired Skills & Experience 

• A minimum of 5 years supplier side experience in managing custom, not syndicated, qualitative and quantitative research projects.  
• Direct experience in supervising subordinates in a marketing research setting
• Extensive experience with all data collection methods (online, phone, mail, mall intercept, central location, etc.)         
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint)

A BS/BA (an MBA will be considered a plus).
